this month i suddenly felt the Urge to revisit dangan ronpa - i watched playthroughs of DR1 and SDR2, and the music for these games is still excellent to me. this one particular, i cannot get out of my head!!!

i finally went and watched all of adventure time!! i used to love this show so much when i was in high school, but i never actually finished it - i think i didn't watch the last two seasons? going back and rewatching though, i still felt so much love for this show and its characters. it's still incredibly funny to me as an adult, and maybe it was due to the previous attachment i had to it, but man did i SOB while watching the ending. i think i still have to watch distant lands - excited to get around to that soon!!

the way i immediately felt like crying at the first few notes . . . i feel like SVT's japanese releases have been pretty meh for me for the past few years, but i really love this one. it reminds me so much of a love live! song, and maybe that makes me even more emotional about it LOL. the mv is really nice too, it was a bit shocking for me in that...woah. the world is really ending? like damn they're even in an evacuation center, like, this shit is real. but fuck that!! last day on earth?? i'm spending it with my BESTIES

not my first time watching, but i rewatched it this month and still enjoyed it a lot on a second watch through.

i kept getting ads for this one so i decided to give in and finally watch it... i thought it was fun! i love a murder mystery, and i enjoyed how it didn't take itself too seriously. it was a little silly, it was nice. i also love the opening sequence, it's so pretty and also fitting for the show.

GIRLS OF PAPER AND FIRE - NATASHA NGAN
i started reading this because it was one of the first things that came up when searching for sapphic fiction. i liked the fantasy aspect, and i think the different castes is interesting . . . i always tend to like when there are people with animal features lmao. i felt like the romance happens a bit fast, at least for my taste - like they didn't really interact enough? also, about 2/3 in, i felt like the story was kind of dragging... and i got bored, and was unable to finish before i had to return it :( i do want to finish it though!! unsure on whether i will read the rest of the series.

watched this one with my sister. i enjoyed it a lot, i thought it was very funny!! it was also nice because i dressed up in pink, and at the theater nearly everyone else was also wearing pink, and just that experience itself was nice too. also the soundtrack will be on loop all month thank you

what a beautiful film! i actually cried so much... i can't say too much because spoilers, but damn does this movie hit as a gay person
PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH
i cried way too many times at this movie. i swear every time the dog was on screen i burst into tears. i kind of felt like he was just too sweet and innocent and that'd he turn out to be a villain, and i'm glad that was not the case

i watched this right after i watched the last wish, and maybe that was a mistake, because this film just pales in comparison . . . it felt like i was watching a really long episode of a tv show. i don't know if that makes sense to anyone but me, but anyway - it was fine.

something very exciting happened this month - I WENT TO GO SEE PARAMORE! for the first time ever! because of the concert, i was listening to paramore a lot this month - this song being one of my favorites off THIS IS WHY. i was so excited to see it live, one of the most fun concerts i've ever been to
PSYCHO - JUN / ♪
mr. wen junhui?! dropped this out of nowhere?! i like it more than limbo, tbh. it's a little mysterious, it's a little more dark. i'm also obsessed with the instrumental, it reminds me so much of a video game - like something that would play in a scene where you're venturing into something a little scary, and the music's trying to make you a little anxious.
KARMA IS A WITCH - ALICE LONGYU GAO / ♪
ok honestly not usually the kind of sound i listen to, but they played this song on joshua and vernon's apple music show, and it got stuck in my head. the lyrics go so hard too. karma is a boss karma is a witch i'm the pretty sailor moon princess :-)

hoshy joshy's variety show is everything to me... watching mainly for hoshi, but thankfully it's actually a very fun show!! it's also so nice to see hoshi being really cute around his hyungs... new episodes of GOSE and bro & marble every week... i feel so spoiled

SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDERVERSE
10/10 animation was incredible, movie was funny and delightful to watch. as a spiderman lover since childhood i LOVED the references and jokes! did not expect it to end that way though, a little frustrating, but excited for the next part nonetheless! went to watch this one with both my little brother and sister.
